[1992] Germany - ATH - The conservation house

A fictitious project for a real setting. The design brief was; to create an visitor centre in the "Lüneburger Heide" Germany, which is a protected nature reserve and wildlife habitat, comparable to an English moor. The concept is for a wooden building in the vernacular style of the area, to which a green tower is attached, offering visitors not only a treetop perspective of the area, but a full range of sheltered views, to a number of natural habitats from burrow to ground and trees, along the way to the top
